Après

After living in Paris for the last half of 2023, I brought back overseas several rolls of film to work with. While living there, I explored the city through my camera. This body of work aims to encapsulate the beauty of Paris on film. Many of the photos were taken in Montmartre, the 18ème arrondissement, and also my favorite. Montmartre is not only the home of the Sacre Cœur, but the place I spent the most time visiting the appartement of close new friend. Après is the French word for After and encompasses the overarching theme of creating work from this experience in life. I am creating these images after returning to the United States reminiscing my experience living in France.
